CIRC/US means “our circle”.

The circle of our sharing, the cycle of giving and receiving. The storytelling circle.

The circle of belonging and community.

CIRC/US is a social cultural project.

Its a platform for discovering voices, sharing stories and creating poetic
interdisciplinary theatre to celebrate human being.

CIRC/US a space for reflection and transformation.
It empowers individuals and groups, stimulates creativity,

and facilitates the development of communication, collaboration and community.

The project brings people together to share

in an intense creative, expressive and social process. This leads to the creation of
an exciting, meaningful and entertaining 21st century show.

PERFORMANCE ALCHEMY
The act of performance is an important part of the process - it facilitates embodiment of the learning and transformation experienced by participants. The shows also provide an important opportunity for the participants to share their presence and presents (their gifts) with the larger community.

GIFTS
CIRC/US is inspired by the spirit of the gift and the giving. During the process we explore the gifts  – the talents and qualities – of the participants.
These gifts are shared within the circle of participants during the process, and with the larger circle of the public during the performances.
